DENTAL IMPLANTS

Dental Implants have been used safely in the treatment of missing teeth for many years. Titanium, zirconium, etc. are produced from tissue-compatible materials. The primary success criterion for dental implants is osseointegration, that is, the structural and functional association of the implant with the bone. The other success criterion is the long-term service of the osseointegrated implant of the superstructure porcelain.
Lack of teeth raises chewing, speech and aesthetic problems. It is stated in the studies that even a single tooth deficiency causes very big problems. In the case of a single tooth deficiency, bridge-type restorations can lead to more tooth losses due to overloading the supporting teeth in the long term. Single tooth implant applications have been used for a long time as the treatment approach closest to the natural result. In the case of multiple or total tooth loss, the treatment procedure is more comprehensive and includes the surgical and prosthetic restoration of the soft tissues lost together with the deficiency. The main purpose of the treatment is to restore patients to their former appearance, to eliminate speech problems and to minimize chewing functions to the natural state.
